Core Snowboard Camp update

Welcome to the 2007~08 winter season at Core Snowboard Camp in beautiful Whistler, BC, Canada. There's been so much snow and powder riding that we haven't been able to get off the mountains to
update the website until now.

Since the beginning of December, Whistler has been having one of the snowiest starts to the season on record, and we've been riding that snow every day. It's been great so far. To date (Jan 12 2008) we've seen over 19.5 feet or 6 meters of snow.

We've had some great groups and fun riders so far from all corners of the world and a big range of levels. Each camper sets their goals at the beginning of the week with their coaches and we have an amazing time on the way to reaching the goals.

We've worked on body position & technique, carving, sliding turns, steep runs, different grabs, ridden parks, built jumps and practiced new tricks in the back country, learned boxes and rails, ridden the Blackcomb super pipe and most of all, floated in miles and miles of powder day after day until our back legs burned from leaning back in so much powder. Just check out the Photo Diary to see what we've been up to.
It's only January and there's still 4 more months of great snow and conditions at Core Snowboard Camps in Whistler.
Keep on riding and remember, you only live once.
